Ortho-Bionomy at Inner Infinity Healing
Jennifer Hickel, Registered Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner:
Imagine having labor pains every month. That is what it was like for me dealing with chronic pain for over 10 years. I couldn’t do anything that I loved like rock climbing or horseback riding, let alone work consistently or make plans for my life.
After trying all that western medicine had to offer and doctors suggesting that I should have surgery which “might” (50% success rate) fix the problem, I decided that I need a more natural solution. In 2014, I decided to try thing called Ortho-Bionomy that I had sort of heard of once….and it changed my life. It had such an effect on relieving my chronic pain that, within a year, I started studying to become a practitioner.
As I started working on friends and family, I started to see them get the same kind of pain relief and great results.
For example, my sister who was on multiple narcotic pain medications for nerve degeneration started to get some additional relief from this work, even with my beginner skills at the time.
Fast forward 8 years into my Ortho-Bionomy journey, I have had the joy and the privilege of seeing these results play out over and over again. Not only does pain get resolved, but the improvements that client’s report in their emotional well being and their sense of inner calm continue to astound me.
My certification requires over 500 hours of training. I am currently on my way to completing my Advanced Practitioner Certification which will be over 1000 hours.
People often ask what parts of the body I work with. The answer is that I work with the whole body. The parts of the body that people frequently request help with are:
- Low Back
- Shoulders
- Upper Back
- Headaches/Migraines
- Neck
- Knees
- Stress and Tension
In my spare time I like to ride my horse, work on lots of different craft projects, garden and relax with my husband and daughter.
About Fifi Heurlin
Inner Infinity Healing is proud to introduce our
new team member Fifi Heurlin.
Fifi has recently graduated from the Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner Program.
Fifi’s Story:
In the fall of 2022, my youngest child went through physical therapy for chronic back pain. While I watched, the physical therapist spent time digging into the intercostal muscles between their ribs, and my child laying there crying because it hurt so badly. I knew there had to be a better way to ease the pain.
I met Jennifer a few years previous to this time, and she had briefly introduced Ortho-Bionomy to me. It’s amazing how those little moments of interaction stick in a person’s mind and resurface when the time is right. We crossed paths again, and I scheduled my first session with her in March of 2023. Before the session was over, I knew that I wanted to learn how to do the work. Two years have passed since then, and I have now graduated from the Rocky Mountain Ortho-Bionomy Center with over 500 hours of training to become a Certified Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy.
Over the course of the last two years, I have learned an immensely valuable set of skills that harnesses my natural talents and allows me to support client’s bodies in a way that I never could have dreamed of before. In that time, I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia and inflammatory arthritis in my lower spine. While I don’t like how familiar I have become with chronic pain, that familiarity has allowed me to understand how it affects people every day, and it has deepened my love for Ortho-Bionomy in a way that could not have happened any other way.
I am looking forward to helping people be able to be their best selves, physically, by being comfortable in their own bodies.
